Could you possibly show me what to look for and how to learn how to fix it?
I'm guessing that you are referring to:
checking for x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu-gcc...
/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-build/./gcc/xgcc
-B/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-build/./gcc/ -B/tools/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/bin/
-B/tools/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/lib/ -isystem
/tools/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/include -isystem
/tools/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/sys-include
checking for suffix of object files... configure: error: in
`/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-build/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/libgcc':
configure: error: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile
What is the output of version-check.sh? You did check that, didn't you?
