It's a little hard to help without more info. You need to boot from a usb stick or CD/DVD and tell us the following:

The partition layout. That is, did you create a separate boot partition? Is the system firmware EFI or classic BIOS? Is the partition table DOS or GPT?

Provide the contents of the /boot directory.

Provide the contents of the /boot/grub/grub.cfg file.

Can you get to the grub command prompt? If so, we can probably get the system to boot from there and you can then fix things up.

BTW, did you read the WARNING?

"Configuring GRUB incorrectly can render your system inoperable without an alternate boot device such as a CD-ROM. This section is not required to boot your LFS system. You may just want to modify your current boot loader, e.g. Grub-Legacy, GRUB2, or LILO. "
