Hi,
I've been sailing through the LFS book, having no problems, and
suddenly encountered an issue in *6.24*. I did some Googling, enough
to see that this has been an issue in the past -- but I did not find a
solution.
*What's happening:*
root:/sources# bunzip2 sed-4.2.2.tar.bz2
bunzip2: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
Let me know what else I might provide to help troubleshoot this. Thanks!
Glenn
Hi Glenn,
Just a thought. Exit the Chroot, umount the Virtual Filesystems, remount
them again (6.2.2 and 6.2.3), and re-enter the Chroot (6.4) - then try
unzipping again.
FYI: Tar can unzip for you, so using "tar xvf sed-4.2.2.tar.bz2" will
unzip and untar for you :)
Best regards
Michael.
