Rather than say you can't afford, go buy it yourself and send it to them,
that is the manly thing to do.
Your comments are inappropriate. You do not know me. I have given away
systems. I also teach at a community college where many students are not
financially well off. I do my best to teach classes with low cost or free
textbooks (which often coat a lot more than $89), but most can afford
something like this.
