Hallo,

after a longer time I am again building an LFS System. My host system is
xubuntu-18.04, I am working on an Lenovo IdeaPad L340.

Until now, everything was going OK. Now, trying to install Eudev-3.2.9
-yes, install, the compilation went itself OK, also make check - I get
errors:

----------------------

make[4]: *** [Makefile:1048: install-exec-hook] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory '/sources/eudev-3.2.8/src/libudev'
make[3]: *** [Makefile:955: install-exec-am] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory '/sources/eudev-3.2.8/src/libudev'
make[2]: *** [Makefile:883: install-am] Error 2n advance,
make[2]: Leaving directory '/sources/eudev-3.2.8/src/libude installaev'
make[1]: *** [Makefile:400: install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/sources/eudev-3.2.8/src'
make: *** [Makefile:450: install-recursive] Error 1

---------------------

Btw., the same happens if I download to 3.2.8. Can someone help me ? I
dont want to shutdown my PC before finalizing LFS-9.1, Eudev is the last
program in the installation chain.

Thanks in advance, Edgar
