OK, I finally got everything working, and it is sweet. Works like a charm.
But there is one detail, my bit rate is low, lower than I specified. When encoding I specify bit rate (for AVCodecContext) of 400 kbps, but the resulting movie is around 25 kbps. With the variable frame rate of around 1 per second. Why is my bit rate degraded?
