You are miistaken. The Board of Elections WILL show up in court. They always show up in court in these cases. They are required to do so. I have vast experience in this subject. Last year when I ran for Congress there were 42 cases like this. I argued my own two cases and watched the most prominent election lawyers in New York City argue the other 40 cases. I also argued my own cases in the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York State, and watched these other top lawyers argue their own cases in that court. I have by far the most experience and indeed I am the only member of the Libertarian Party who is familiar with these kind of cases. Nevertheless, whenever I have tried to post warnings on these groups that the proper proceedures were not being followed and the Libertarian Party candidates were in danger of being kicked off the ballot, I have been shouted down and accused of working against the party and of trying to work against the party candidates. I have been branded as a pariah by the Libertarian Party. Now, suddenly, precisely because the Libertarian Party has either ignored or attacked my postings, the entire party slate is in danger of being kicked off the ballot. All I can say is "I told you so". Libertarian Party members need to start attending the weekly meetings of the Board of Elections, as I did last year. Otherwise, these things will happen. Why do you keep ignoring me? In answer to your question, the best advice I can give is call my old friend Mitch Alter. I have known him since 1984. I hired him to be the lawyer in several landlord and tenant cases for my other friend Al Fogelson. Mitch Alter has an office is Canarsie Brooklyn and also on Court Street in downtown Brooklyn. He is the number one election law lawyer in New York City. I believe that he will discuss your case free of charge but if you want him to appear in court you will have to pay.
