Is that what > you want? > Twenty years ago when you left, it was "Morning in America", what with the Reagan high that the republican party got. The republicans don't have Ronnie anymore. Back then, the repubs could credibly steal our thunder. Not anymore. NOBODY believes the repubs are for small government...or even less government. And our candidates typically get in the 5% range nowadays. Not for POTUS, but most other races. But even there, the LP candidates are not funded like the repubs. Of course, our candidates don't have anything to sell either, except for personal liberty. Big money contributors don't want that. They want favors. And I very seriously doubt that Ron Paul has succumbed to that. And the repubs are in far worse shape today than when Ron quit them in disgust last time. And, I believe that Ron has more friends in that part of Texas than you think. PEACE Steven R.
