Really? So then how do you explain the events of the last couple days on Capitol Hill?
A Bush-backed program sponsored by House Republicans to make some serious cuts in the growth of spending for Ag and other Appropriations. Democrats and their allies in the Liberal Media go absolutely Apeshit. Pelosi in front of the cameras calling Bush every nasty name in the book for his cold-hearted "cut government agenda." So, the GOPers finally back down. And how about that Democrat Mayor in Baltimore a few months back who called Bush a "9/11 Terrorist" for his proposed cuts to local governments. And perhaps you caught this one on CNN a few weeks ago. Some Rap Star at the American Music Awards criticizing Bush for not spending enough money in New Orleans, and saying straight out, "George Bush hates Black people." Pretty damned hard for even the hardest of hearted right-wing politicians to overcome such an onslaught wouldn't you think? Or is it just better to blame the Republicans - the ones who are actually trying to make some cuts here and there - then the guys and gals who are creaming them for their proposals? --- In [email protected], "steven linnabary" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Eric Dondero Rittberg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > > Okay, I'll accept that.
