Prohibition was repealed when the public came to perceive how the "war on alcohol" was corrupting public officials. That corruption has been more effectively concealed for the "war on drugs", even though it is far worse. The path to ending it is to expose that corruption. People are used to hearing libertarians complaining in general terms about how big government becomes corrupt, but we seldom present solid evidence of specific instances of corruption. That is what is needed, and what we need to provide. If we do, we may gain credibility on the rest of our issues.
