I don't care if all this is true; his exacerbation of the drug
war cancels it all out. In the face of full knowledge of the dire
consequences of prohibition, he did it anyway - and was
responsible for untold numbers of deaths and ruined lives.

{American jurors have complete Constitutional authority to vote
"not guilty" based on nothing more than a disagreement with the
case, no matter the evidence - despite the judge's instructions.
There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a
unanimous verdict. Get on a jury, stand your ground, and fulfill
its other main purpose: to counteract abusive government and
unjust lawsuits.

Regan's proposed budget had far lower spending and was pronounced
"DOA" the the Democrats.
When first elected, Rgan proposed total elimination of four
Federal
departments, also stopped by Congress.
As has been stated and not refuted, SDI made Gorbachev and the
Soviets
blink in Iceland.
Marginal tax rates are still far lower than the 70% when Regan
was
elected. That is but one aspect of his legacy.
