And if the Flat Earth Society has its way, you'll have to fly west if you want to go to Tokyo, because everyone will know that if you fly east you'll go off the edge of the world. Granted, the Islamists are more violent than the Flat Earth Society -- but they're no more likely to be successful, especially if the US knocks their support base out from under them by ceasing to fuck around in affairs to which it is not legitimately a party.
