It´s not. Speed limits laws exists because high speed driving may consist a threat to third parties. Sometimes, the own inhabitants of certain neighboorhood requires the enforcement of these laws. Yes, there are government abuses related to speed limit laws enforcement, but, most of times, that´s necessary. Speed Limits laws doesn´t requires invasive inspections to be enforced.
