Mr. Ireland,

There are two separate issues here.

One of them is the quality of debate. The other is the effect that the
debate might have on libertarian activism, outreach, etc. With respect
to you personally, these two issues are closely related.

You constantly claim that your arguments are backed by science, even
though you can't -- or won't -- provide so much as a single citation
from any scientific reference to substantiate any of your alleged
arguments.

You constantly claim that your arguments are backed by "a thousand
years of libertarian philosophy" even though you have never, in the
several years that I've followed your blatherings, provided any
evidence that you possess the slightest grasp of libertarian
principles, ideas or history, or for that matter the ability to do
anything except spout a few maxims whenever you decide that you feel
since you feel "x" about something, "x" must be "libertarian."

In summary, you've never made any substantive contribution to any
debate on this list, and your presence in the libertarian movement
generally raises the question of whether you're simply a loudmouth
ignoramus, or whether you're an anti-libertarian mole on a mission to
bog down the movement internally and embarrass it publicly.

And yes, Terry, I know that this is ad hominem. Feel free to moderate
as you think necessary, but I'll state in advance that I probably
won't respond to whatever idiotic bluster the hominem pulls out of his
ass in response to my ad.

Regards,
Tom Knapp
