No one is "up in arms" when SPECIFIC muslims are criticized for their
SPECIFIC actions.   The problem, and you full well know it, is the constant
promotion of collectivist labeling of all muslims by certain individuals.
There is a big difference between targeted criticism and the blanket
generalizations and collectivizing that sometimes occurs here.

It is different from vic's post, but my larger point was that issues 
such as gitmo aren't any different whatsoever. You can criticize this 
government to death here, as I do very often, but the moment anyone 
mentions a single positive word about the U.S. or a single negative 
word about muslims, islamo-fascists, or terrorists, everyone is up in 
arms.
