Here's another thought on the matter. It'd be one thing if the Libertarian Party were running a candidate for US Senate in Connecticut, but they are not. In fact, I've recently learned that the LP barely exists in the State; that both the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman are only paper officers.
Should we just completely abandon any libertarian activities at all in the Nutmeg State? Just write it off as totally hopeless? This is THEE MOST WATCHED POLITICAL RACE IN THE NATION. ALL EYES ARE TURNED TO CONNECTICUT. And the Libertarian Party is totally and completely MIA!! Would it be so bad to get involved in the race at some level or another, to push the debate towards a libertarian direction? I would suggest, while not backing Lieberman, maybe a press release attacking Lamont for attacking Lieberman's libertarian-leaning stances on a few issues. Do you all really love obscurity, that much? Is it a case of Celebrity-itis? You just don't want to get any media attention? Don't want anyone to know Libertarians exist? --- In [email protected], "thomasjefferson1743" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Well said. > > > --- In [email protected], James Landrith <jlandrith@> wrote: > > > > Eric, > > > > Why is the responsibility of libertarians to carry > > water for Lieberman?
