Chuck is right here. No, the RLC didn't "steal him" from the LP.

BTW, Ben's a great guy. He did come to the RLC National Convention
with his lovely guy. This guy is hardcore with a capitol H. He
knows Georgia politics inside and out. And he's not afraid to step
on some toes, especially on tax and property rights issues.

There was a time when the RLC and the LP were at each other's
throats. I'm the very one who instigated much of this. Chuck Muth
is also to blame, and a few others. But these days, with the "New"
Libertarian Party, an LP that is serious about winning elections,
RLCers are working side by side with the LP.

Look at the Bob Smither Campaign. RLC libertarians are backing him
100%! One of his two biggest endorsements is Land Commissioner and
State RLC Chairman Jerry Patterson.

Look at Vermont. RLCers are behind the "Vermont LP 5" running for
State House.

RLC has even endorsed our own Listee Paul Ireland in his race for
Congress in California.
