Your opion is wrong, as a parent you brought the child into this
world by choice unless someone forced you to have sex or somehow
stoled semen from you while you were knocked out, thus you have a
duty to the child until the child can make it on their own, the child
has self ownership but can not excerise that self ownership until
they have the mental ablity to do so, some ablities come sooner than
others for example having the ablity to be married and raise children
may only be for those 14 and over but a child as young as 6 may be
able to choose a guradian, if mommy and daddy beats me at 6 it is
reasonable to see why a child of 6 would perfer to go live with their
grandmother who does not beat the child.--- In
