Where do Christians and Jews use the force of government to discriminate
against non-believers? It is imperfect but minimal. Compare with Islamic
societies, and even worse, Islamist ones. The difference in bigotry is like
night and day.

I suspect you'll have a much easier time opening a mosque in Dallas or
Sacramento than opening a church in Riyadh or Tehran. Don't forget to claim
your Bible at customs when you arrive at King Khalid International Airport.

I made your statements make MORE sense. It's pretty easy to see
where I'm going. I'm simply using your own words to demonstrate
their inconsistent logic.

If it's bigotry when the Koran condemns people who don't believe
in its god, then it's also bigotry when the Bible condemns people
who don't believe in its god. And you are right that I could find
many more bible verses that do that, but you are excruciatingly
wrong that Christians and Jews don't discriminate against
non-believers based on those texts.

----------------------------------------

You've replaced some words to create nonsensical versions of my
statements. I don't understand where you're going with that.
Obviously anyone can change a word or two and make a sentence
silly, illogical, etc. I only stand by what I actually said, not
what you change it to say.

The verses from Jeremiah doesn't fit here. There is no bigotry
in them. You can probably find some other Biblical verses
condemning people by group affiliation, but those verses are
neither applicable to, nor practiced by, contemporary Christians
and Jews.

We really don't have to go all the way back to ancient religious
texts to see racism and bigotry. All we have to do is go back to
your recent post. But let's emphasize the humor and frame it in
your present post.

"Racism and similar bigotry go beyond mere opinion by, for
example, declaring a particular group of people as 'violent cats
... culturally incapable of civilized government' and
recommending to 'bomb the hell out of them'."

Or if you were more intending to criticize the Koran and its god
for condemning groups of people, try out this alternate version
(of your own kind of bigotry):

"Racism and similar bigotry go beyond mere opinion by, for
example, declaring a particular group of people as essentially
worth nothing but killing and leaving as 'dung upon the ground',
which is demonstrably false."

King James Bible, JEREMIAH
25:31 A noise shall come [even] to the ends of the earth; for the
LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all
flesh; he will give them [that are] wicked to the sword, saith
the LORD.
25:32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth
from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up
from the coasts of the earth.
25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from [one]
end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth: they
shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall
be dung upon the ground.

------------------------

Racism and similar bigotry go beyond mere opinion by, for
example, declaring a particular group of people as essentially
"monkeys and pigs," which is demonstrably false.

"... They are those whom Allah has cast aside and on whom His
wrath has fallen and of whom He has made some as apes and
swine..." (5:60); "...You have surely known the end of those from
amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath, in
consequence of which we condemned them: Be ye like apes,
despised" (2:65); and "when, instead of amending, they became
more persistent in the pursuit of that which they were forbidden,
we condemned them: Be ye as apes, despised" (7:166).
