I went ahead and applied this to my tree -- I think if we want to modify
the macros and such as per your suggestion elsewhere, I'd like to do it
afterwards. We've got a good amount of code ready for 1.0.2 (or 1.1,
depending) and I'd like to get it tested and merged up for release.
