Not just a new feature, but a new feature which would affect significant core code paths. Not that I should be one to talk (although I think I've unbroken my totally-safe-bugfix that recently broke ParallelMesh regression tests), but I've already been telling Vikram to hold off on adding a new feature that *wouldn't* affect any existing methods.
