hi,

I would like to know how is the proper way of compiliing the libmesh under
Win32 (I've downloaded the "libmesh 0.7.2") with MinGW. I've re-read many times
the installations instructions on the offical web site, it just simply
instructs to type configure and make respectively but that doesn't help in my
case. I use Msys console, during the configuration process I see "checking the
whether the c++ compiler works... no ". So does it prove that configuration
file is not configured properly ?

I also noted that in the "Installation Instructions" section F77 is mentioned,
AFAIK there is no F77 compiler under minGW. So is that F77 is obligatory or
alternative g95 or gfortran can be used?

Instead of building from scratch, isn't there any precompiled binaries in order
to test how the libmesh is in action?

Regards,
