The 205RE is 512K and you could well run into trouble with specifying a 
smaller memory. I have found that to be the case when I've played with 
103's of different sizes.

Is your program crashing when using interrupts? loc3 should give you the 
correct ISR settings although I don't think many people have used the 
F2xx series so it would be largely untested. you should be able to 
verify from the listing files. I have a working example with TIM2 for 
the F4-discovery board which may help if you would like to try it. The 
F2xx is very similar. I would need to read up on the timers again as i 
haven't used them for a couple of years.
