What would make this camp happiest, I think, is if we just automatically
enrolled everyone in Jakarta-Utils. This would give them a place to
break out code they wanted to share.

What would make this camp happiest, I think, is if we created a
subproject that specialized in writing components, or packages, rather
than larger products. Ideally, each package would be treated the same as
a product.
What would make me happiest, I think, is if we created a database that
would list all the available Jakarta products, and components,
regardless of where they live (Avalon, Turbine, Struts, the new
subproject), along with relevant user contributions. I'm on the hook to
do the user contribution part for Struts anyway, so we might as well
include ~everything~ Jakarta.
