My concern was that I have columns set up so the cells have the same properties in the whole column, like currency (not general), bold and/or italic. Color could also be included - that makes sense to me. When I want to move a cell from one column, with certain properties set, into another column, with or without those same properties set, the cut cell currenly appears unformatted in the pasted column - no format, no bold, no italics, etc., just plain, general appearance. I thought it should be a fairly simple matter to preserve the properties as it originally appeared in the source column when pasted into the target column. If that must include color and every other possible aspect of format, then, yes, at least optionally, it should be possible to paste exactly as-was into the target cell.
