Regarding "We have two ways to display a timestamp", I think the first one
refers to, for example, in Writer: Insert - Field - Time (fixed/variable). Then
double-click the inserted field to see the formatting options.

The second one seems to be View - Toolbars - Form controls, then the Date Field
and Time Field. These can also be used in Base when designing forms.
