Thank you both for your comments.

Yes, I discovered what you say about the 'Start Centre' and ways of managing
the list somewhat from within that. However, there is the deficit of that way
that not all users will be using the Start Centre — they will just try to
manage the list from whatever component of LibreOffice they happen to be using,
Writer, Calc, Draw, etc.

(Personally, I never use the Start Centre though for reasons I have stated in
this feature request I made here:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165153 In that feature
request I incorrectly referred to the Start Centre as the 'Quickstarter' but I
was really referring to the Start Centre.)

I think my suggested improvement would be a large benefit to the usability of
LibreOffice for users not using the Start Centre.

It occurred to me last night that a context menu might not be necessary: it
could be arranged that a right-click on a list item opens a dialogue-box GUI
that offers actions to do with the list item right-clicked on: that might be
easier to code than creating a full-blown 'context menu'.

So on this basis I would still ask that my feature request be taken onboard.

Thanks again for the responses.
