In a word - no!

I went to Start -> LibreOffice -> LibreOffice (Safe Mode) and selected that.
It attempted to do something, but didn't get as far as displaying the splash
screen.
In case it's of any help, here's the error report that was sent to Microsoft -
although it looks to be the same as the earlier one.
