            Bug ID: 165721
Summary: Non-breaking spaces are no longer visible
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.1.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

In previous versions of Writer, you could distinguish between a non-break space
and a normal space, because the non-break space was displayed as a grey
rectangle.

Now it's invisible, like a normal space.

I have Options > Writer > Formatting Aids > Display Formatting > Non-breaking
space and hyphen enabled, but the non-break spaces are now invisible.

Does this relate also to bug 67699? This changed behaviour seems to be a
reversion.

Version: 25.2.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-GB (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
