Bug ID: 166396
Summary: Properties dialogue box in LibreOffice Writer is too
large to fit on my screen
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.6.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Whenever I access the Properties dialogue box in LibreOffice Writer, the
dialogue box is too tall to fit on the screen of my (admittedly antique)laptop.
Screen size is 1,366 x 768, but the dialogue box that appears is clearly meant
for a screen that is at least 1,024 pixels high.
As a result, I am completely unable to use the dialogue box, as I cannot resize
it or move it into a position where I can see the buttons at the bottom.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select File->Prioperties
2.properties dialogue box appears, and it is HUGE. Bottom of dialogue box is
not visible on screen, and is completely inaccessible.
3.Forced to hit ESC to remove the dialogue box so I can continue working.
Actual Results:
Giant sized dialogue box appeared, that can ONLY be dismissed by hitting ESC.
Expected Results:
Provided a dialogue box that is sized correctly for my screen.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Operating system is Linux Mint 7.2. LibreOffice Writer version 24.2.6.2
(x86-64).
Computer is a Compaq CQ58 laptop, max screen resolution 1,366 x 768.
