--- Comment #13 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- So if I am following along, the only way you could have this happen is if there is an edit of the autocorr_<locale>.dat that inserted that Unicode PUA glyph. in your user profile that has a character other than U+2192. You could check directly. Open a blank document in Writer. Open the Tools -> AutoCorrect -> AutoCorrect Options... dialog. On the first panel for 'Replace' there is a two column listing. The very first item is the '-->' on the left and its 'arrow' replacement on the right. Select the tuple from the list, the values should populate the fields. You can then select the arrow and copy it to clipboard. Paste it directly to the writer canvas, does it show as an arrow? If you apply the <Alt>+X conversion does it toggle to U+2192, or the that PUA code point U+F0E0? If you'd made any past edits/changes to the autocorr_<locale).dat template in profile you should have a copy in your LO user profile. Guess something could be corrupted there. But if your really on a clean new profile, the default template for the autocorr_<localte>.dat data file should be using the U+2192 value. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
