So - you write, that *you like the feature of automatically detecting the field
separators*. You therefore confirm that it's useful to you - showing that you
may paste multicolumn data from different sources (which is the crucial thing:
yes, Calc's Text Import dialog is designed to handle "structured text" coming
in multiple flavors and from different sources, prepared in different locales,
and so, with details unknown in advance). Please think about it once again. You
paste some data today, from a source that *happens* to be prepared in your
locale. Tomorrow, you copy a text from a website, created by an American, using
different separators. And what you are asking is "use magic to tell one from
the other". There is no magic. Please realize that, and live with that.
