It will be fixed in version 26.8. It is no decision yet, whether a similar fix will be made for version 26.2. A direct back-port is not possible, because the fix is on top of a very recent change that is not contained in 26.2. You can use a daily build (likely from Wednesday on) to test, whether it solves the problem for you. A daily build can be installed parallel to an ordinary installation.
