--- Comment #4 from ady <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #3) > If you could cap the column width Leaving aside other potential actions a user could take in some generic situation (e.g. zoom, row height, automatic wrap, automatic fit, font size...), for the purpose of this enhancement request, there are aspects of it that are not completely clear to me. _ Should the cap(s) be individually assigned to each column (i.e. each column has its own cap)? _ Is the cap measured in length (mm, cm, in..., as in Format > Columns > Width) or dependent on / related to something else (as in the Calc function =CELL("width")). _ If the cap is not assigned to each individual column (so it is a more global setting), is it part of each spreadsheet tab? Or, part of the workbook document as a whole? Or, not saved with the document but rather a UI / user setting (similar to customized toolbars, or custom keyboard shortcuts, or...)? _ Is it a visual limit? Does it vary / adapt depending on zoom factor / screen resolution, font type, font size? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
