PDF with screenshots comparing Drop Caps on Writer and LaTeX
In the attached PDF file you can see some screenshots of Drop Caps.
The first one is from a LaTeX document with the Lettrine package. There you can
see that the "space to text" keep the connection between the Drop Cap and the
rest of the first word, setting a separation only for the following lines.
The second screenshot shows a Drop Cap on Writer, with the "space to text" set
to zero.
The third screenshot shows the same Drop Cap on Writer, but with the "space to
text" set to 0,5 cm. As you can see, the first word ("Solo") breaks, with the
Drop Cap "S" getting separated from the rest of the word.
I set this as a bug and not as an enhancement request because I think that the
expectation is that the first word remains "connected," independently of the
space to text setting. The space to text should ignore the first line as in
LaTeX, or at least provide an option for that.
