--- Comment #17 from Christian Lehmann <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 207852 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=207852&action=edit table with red cell Here as in the case of bug 170173, I would expect a formatting applied to an entire block - in the present case, an entire table cell - to be preserved on copy and paste, while the same operation applied to a proper part of it would only carry along the formatting applied to this part. The table of the example file uploaded contains a cell which is formatted with red background. Observe that the LO Writer table menu explicitly offers the choice to apply such formatting to a cell; so the user expects that it is a property associated with the cell as such. Now copy the red cell into an empty cell: no background color. Same happens if you select the entire table row (by approaching and clicking the ⇒ shaped cursor) and paste it into the table: the red background is lost. I do not think this is what the user expects. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
