--- Comment #3 from Verhoeckx <[email protected]> --- I made a comparison of four fonts/typefaces with a large coverage of Unicode characters and unique glyphs. You can find them here below. Liberation Sans Version 2.1.5. 30 September 2021 Characters: 2327 Glyphs: 2620 https://github.com/liberationfonts/ Noto Sans Version 2.015 20 November 2024 Characters: 3094 Glyps: 4515 https://notofonts.github.io/ GNU FreeSans Version 2012-05-03 3 May 2012 Characters: 4622 Glyphs: 6272 https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/freefont/ DejaVu Sans Version 2.37 30 Juli 2016 Characters: 5918 Glyps: 6523 https://dejavu-fonts.github.io/ What stands out: * GNU FreeSans and DejaVu have a higher coverage of Unicode characters and more glyphs than Noto Sans, but both project aren't developed any more. * From the four fonts/typefaces only Noto Sans has an active development (as far as I know). This could be an important reason to choose Noto Sans. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
