Click in the status bar on the zoom number, the dialog is opening with Custom activated (if you already changed that at least once), the number could be selected with Ctrl+A, then you can press the new number. I could do 7 changes in less then 28 seconds, so an average of 4 seconds/change. So, when used from status bar this option is usable for a quick job. Waiting for a feedback from you.
