This is where we fundamentally disagree. 1. How come there is "nothing to be gained" when it's clear the user would save TIME? 2. The burden of the 'nuisance' (users who don't want to change it with direct entry or prefer the spin box control to adjust incrementally) would see NO CHANGE at all, because they had to use the mouse/keybard ANYWAY as it is right now... therefore they lose nothing.
