--- Comment #34 from HeartLetter <[email protected]> --- Apparently, it is an issue between Noto and Liberation fonts. There are NO Liberation fonts configured in the styles or in LibreOffice's preferences, only Noto ― name from: I write (lat. Noto) no tofu. Forcing the substitution of Liberation with Noto in Preferences -> Fonts: 1) All automatically replaced characters like '->', and the pasted character ≘, appear as TOFU both in the ODT and in the PDF. 2) The problematic line in a item in that list appears just correct, with the pasted character ≘ and the autosubstitued → appearing correctly in the design Noto draws them; but the second line in that item presents the issue nº 1 as other lines. Installing fonts-noto-ui-extra, the only one from the repos, and restarting LibreOffice, did not solve the issue. LibreOffice 26.2.6.3 in Ubuntu 24.04. LibreOffice should use, for all those characters in all those lines, the font configured by the user, not any other one. Noto has all those characters, and LibreOffice uses them in the "formerly problematic" line: it appears the problematic lines are actually all the other ones where it applies another font, and when it applies the correct font there happens some trouble unless the user forces the substitution of Liberation by Noto in all cases in the Preferences. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
