--- Comment #3 from [email protected] --- Update: I have found the trigger for this issue and a 100% working workaround. It appears this regression is directly tied to the localization/locale settings (specifically the Turkish language pack). When we change the LibreOffice language settings from Turkish to English (UK), the freezing issue completely disappears. Workaround applied: 1. Go to Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages 2. Change "User Interface" to: English (UK) 3. Change "Locale setting" to: English (UK) 4. Restart LibreOffice. I have tested this exact workaround on 3 different affected users in our corporate environment, and it fixed the problem flawlessly for all of them. They can now save .xls/.xlsx files and open the Options menu without any "Not Responding" hangs. This strongly indicates that the root cause of the freeze in 26.8.1 is triggered by the Turkish UI/Locale. I hope this helps the development team narrow down the issue and implement a permanent fix. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
