But it can interesting to see what have been added in the resource fork, - either by using terminal and typing: DeRez blank.doc if you have installed the developer tools - or by first zipping the file blank.doc (to conserve the resource fork) and then attaching it. Note: - if this happens before opening the file in LibreOffice, I guess that this is not LibreOffice which happens this resource fork but more probably a Finder's extension... - if the size of resource fork is 286, it probably only contains one short resource ; i.e. even if it can be shortened, the header size of a resource fork is often 256 bytes, so this let 30 bytes for the resource map (~20bytes if it contains one resource) and the resource data(maybe 10bytes). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
