As this latest one was approved, it's allowed, while the original was not. Even if ESC did not approve, it resolves a serious regression that caused data loss. So again by the rules, a bug fix is allowed. And, how is reminding people of the rules is inflammatory? Instead of focusing on whether this is a fix or feature, we should be working to ensure that it goes live as soon as possible. What steps need to be done?
