            Bug ID: 101276
Summary: File save required even if no changes with .docx, but
                    not with .odt
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6)
AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.106 Safari/537.36
Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.1.4.2

Open a document that is in .docx format (created in LibreOffice, and saved
before). Make no changes. Close it. Dialog "Save changes to document ... Don't
Save | Cancel | Save. Save it. Open it again, close it again, same happens.
Note that this is not quite the same as the annoying Microsoft behavior of
considering as little as a cursor repositioning a change. In the present case,
the problem is present even without positioning the cursor in the document.

On the other hand, a document in .odt format closes without a prompt, as it
should.

If I click on the Save icon prior to closing, the problem is absent. This seems
to be related to bug 101239. I see in the discussion of 101239 that the save
icon behavior has been deliberately changed. For what it's worth, 1) I don't
like the revised behavior, but that is an enhancement request, 2) it appears to
be inconsistent, sometimes opening with the orange dot, sometimes not, but I
cannot repeat that reliably and in any case it would be a separate bug from
this one.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a Writer document saved in .docx format (note that orange dot is on
Save icon, even though you haven't touched document)
2.Close it by any means (click red button, or File->Close or LibreOffice->Quit
LibreOffice).
3. Do not make any change or even click in the document.
4.Save dialog appears though it should not.
Actual Results:
Save dialog appears.

Expected Results:
Save dialog should not appear, document should just gracefully close.
