It can be hard to see what I'm doing when I can't see that part of the screen
because of the painful flashing. It also triggers migraines and nausea. I'd
call that disruptive.

The hidden setting can already block flashing in both Calc and Draw. The escape
key helps in Calc, but loses focus in Draw.
