In response to comment #24, making these changes is not a work-around for me. I
still can not edit files on my Samba share. I have tried setting both of them,
Tools > Options > Advanced > Expert configuration >
'UseDocumentSystemFileLocking'
and
'UseLocking' keys
to 'false'
The results are the same as my previous comment #23.
