Then shouldn't we reopen bug 126830 instead of this one?
After all, the summary of this bug is "Showing menu icons by default". Unless
we plan to not only make the options work again for GTK3 VCL, but also change
the default setting from automatic (AFAIU, following GTK3/GNOME global setting)
to always, I'm afraid changing the status of this bug from WONTFIX to NEW is
going to set up wrong expectations.
