Type 2 words on the same line in default Times New Roman font. 3. Use the mouse to highlight second word. 4. Use ctrl-B (or Bold icon) to bold second word. 5. Click space between words. 6. Click other empty space in document. I cannot reproduce the "scrunching" effect.
