RPM may handle this version scheme, but it is not allowed in Fedora:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Pre-Release_packages .
It is not really a problem, because the alpha/beta part can just be
moved to release--I just thought it should be mentioned.
