No, it uses a separate configure option (variable) that is going to be used only for the daily builds. I have just pushed the change for tinderboxes, see http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/contrib/buildbot/commit/?id=d2c42f2c2143c614bb74d2f9603c951d94ab32fe I updated few tinderboxes where I had access, including the two Linux tinderboxes with release configuration. I will ping other tinderbox maintainers after I am 100% sure that it works (test a daily build).
